Ground-Up Boutique Hotel
Foundations was retained as construction manager to replace another general contractor who was unable to deal with dewatering issues at the site. Foundations dealt with this and other issues related to both the site location near the Hudson River, in prime West Chelsea in order to execute on the building’s advanced design, created by renowned architect, Enrique Norten. The 56-room boutique hotel has won innumerable design related awards, including being on Conde Nast’s Hot List in its first year of operations.
